Today I signed up for Apple Music on my phone and had great fun downloading all my favourite songs from years gone by. A mix of EDM and K-pop was mostly what I chose. I know many people get their music for free these days and don’t want to pay big companies like Amazon or Apple but bands, and indeed authors too, need to be paid for their work. I pay for my books on my kindle because I hope, someday, someone might buy my books.

Thinking of music, the soundtrack to Stranger Things season 5 is excellent. We watched the first episode today. No spoilers. I’ll just say sooo much happened. If you’ve never watched it you should give it a go, especially if you grew up in the 80s like me. It will make you very nostalgic.

  • Of Days off and Duolingo

Well my days off have ended and I was back at work today. Luckily there are two free periods on a Thursday so it wasn’t a total shock to the system. I was able to ease back in. Tomorrow is a full day but it’s almost the weekend. I didn’t do the things I’d planned…
