I started a diet again on Saturday. Just counting calories and using the My Fitness Pal app on the phone. Nothing too complicated. So far I’ve kept to about 1,200 calories per day but today my loved one surprised me with a treat from my favourite little food truck. Takoyaki! So today I ate 1,464 calories because they were just too tempting to refuse.
One of the staff members at the academy told me her husband has had success and lost 9kg by taking Wegovy. I am not tempted to try weight loss drugs for several reasons. First, I’ve lost weight before so I know I can do it. Second, I don’t want the side effects. Lastly, keeping the weight off requires lifestyle changes and I’d be concerned about regaining the weight if I stopped the drugs. So I’m going to do it the old fashioned way.
