I have recently been enjoying Jo Nesbo’s series of detective novels. My fiancé is not a reader, and I miss someone to discuss books with, but my son-in-law is going to be my book buddy. It was him who recommended the Harry Hole books to me, as I told him I loved the Wallander series by Henning Mankell. He is currently reading Frankenstein. I decided to download it and read it too, so that we will have something to talk about together.

I have to download it on my Kindle as we live in a really tiny place, in Uijeongbu, with absolutely no space for books. I used to have my own study/library in my old house. It was painted pale sage, and had a writing desk, shelves full of books and a comfy old basket chair for reading. I have nice memories of time spent there with my beloved dog Shadow. A Kindle has advantages too though and I have got used to it.
