I got my very first subscriber last night. I felt so pleased and grateful. Obviously it takes time to build any kind of following. I know a couple of people who regularly read my blog though, so I’m happy. I try to find blogs I like too, but the search engines throw up the sane suggestions every time and I’m not sure how to find lesser known writers. It’s good that blogging is still popular though, as I think it’s a great way to share your thoughts with the world.

(SPOILER ALERT) On a different note, I was devastated, although understood the decision, in the final episode of Squid Game, when the main character sacrificed himself to save another player. I wanted him to survive so much, although, as my fiance pointed out, that would not be as entertaining. Actually, many of my main characters don’t make it. When my daughter was young she asked me why everyone died in my stories. They usually sacrifice themselves for someone else, but some are just unlucky. I am often conflicted about this though, as it’s hard to kill a creation you love, but for the sake of realism or entertainment it can be neccessary.

  • Of Reinventions and Regrets

Well, I’ve calmed down a bit after my hair disaster yesterday, but it’s been replaced by extreme regret. I wish I had never touched my hair! It will take over a year for it to grow out, so 2026 is the year of the black bob. I arrived at school and the comments ranged from…
