Today we went a trip to GwangMyeong Cave near Seoul. It’s an old gold mine that they have repurposed to become a tourist attraction. It was very blingy, with thousands of fiber optics and LEDs, but the main attraction was it was cool in this heatwave we’ve been having. It was very busy today. Everyone obviously had the same idea as us.

I’m a coward, but I’ve decided not to enter the Novelry competition (last day today) this year. Maybe next time. I stressed about it a lot and struggled with confidence, and ultimately didn’t feel I was ready. I didn’t think any of my drafts were sufficiently polished, and I’d been too busy with reports lately to rewrite. To be honest, I haven’t written anything lately, although I have had ideas and have been thinking about them.
