I don’t know why but some of my students were even more hyper than normal today. Could it be the upcoming Christmas festivities that are making them overexcited? They couldn’t sit in their chairs or read their books without collapsing in fits of giggles and everyone was speaking so much Korean. I was swept away in a tsunami of kids as they pushed out the door early, not listening to me at all.

Sometimes I guess we all question our sanity regarding our jobs, but today I really wondered what I was doing. It was so nice to get home and close the door on the world. I ate some baguette and cheese and then had a phone call with my mum and dad. Now I’m snuggled into Oppa while he watches TV. The most mundane things can be precious and help keep us sane.
