Today was the first day of my Winter vacation. I went to the local nail shop and got sparkly lilac gel nails, courtesy of my mum and dad, for my birthday, which was recently. I really enjoyed being pampered for an hour and trying to make conversation with someone new.

I also went food shopping at the hypermart, nearby, called Homeplus. I decided to make Normandy chicken for my fiance’s dinner. I had to substitue sour cream for creme fraiche and apple juice for calvados but it turned out well.  He liked it. I used to cook every day but don’t any more. It was really good to get back in the kitchen, sipping wine, stirring in cream, snapping asparagus. I enjoyed it very much.
