The new Aerocano by Starbucks has launched in South Korea and I had to try it and see what the hype was about. There was a thirty minute waiting time to get it, but was it worth it? Well, no, not really. It’s just the same taste as an Americano. The foamy texture is quite nice and smooth but it dissipates quickly and you’re just left with a standard Americano with a little bit of foam on top. I might order it again but I’d probably just go for a regular ice Americano, which has got to be the most popular drink in South Korea.
It’s teacher preparation day today, so no kids. It’s eerily quiet in the academy but it’s good to get time to print things out and laminate stuff for the walls. I’m full of angst for next week, not because of the new students but the brand change is a big deal. It’s all different books, and we’re expected now to teach coding on top of the math, science etc we currently teach in English. I’m just dreading the coding. I want to go back to teaching English only, not all these other subjects which are not my speciality.
