It’s Sir David Attenborough’s birthday today and he is one hundred years old. One hundred! Amazing.  He is a national treasure. I have always watched his shows. I remember watching Life on Earth with my dad in the late 1970’s and David Attenborough is still producing fascinating content that reminds us how precious our world is. I, along with many other people, am immensely grateful to him. What a wonderful human being.

Last night I hung out with another special human. My friend. We went to a bistro. We ordered endive salad and fish & chips. It was very nice but not what I expected. Coming from Scotland, I was expecting chipped potatoes but instead it was deep fried tortilla chips! They were not unpleasant. It was just a surprise. But I appreciated the effort my friend went to in selecting a place I would enjoy.
