I was surprised to learn that today is the 10th anniversary of the Brexit vote when the UK voted to leave Europe! I can’t believe it’s been ten years already. We didn’t formally leave the EU until 2020, but the decision was made a decade ago already. Like many Scots, I am pro Europe and I felt it was a terrible mistake when we were pulled out the EU.

The buffoons, like Boris Johnson, who were in power at the time, should be ashamed. I don’t currently live in the UK. I live in South Korea, but I can see that Brexit was a failure, and all the promised trade deals etc. never materialised. The European Union has it’s flaws but I feel we could have been a voice for reform from within and still reaped the many benefits of being in the union.
