Today we did the mammoth journey from Incheon in South Korea to Glasgow in Scotland, via Beijing and Heathrow in London. It feels like two days ago that we started. I was surprised in Beijing’s Daxxing airport to see Starbucks (although the Ice Americano was most welcome) and McDonalds. I thought being a communist country it would be undesirable to have these capitalist brands there.
Now we finally arrived at the Glasgow Airport Premier Inn and I’m about to enjoy a much needed shower and sleep. The bed looks so inviting and comfy but I must freshen up first. Looking forward to the big Scottish breakfast in the morning too. Then we’ll pick up the car and go see our family.
