I have read quite a few books in the past year or so, but the one I have enjoyed the most is Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (author of The Martian). It’s a story of survival, but also friendship and humanity. It’s science fiction but not too sciency or too technical. It’s the kind of book a non scientist like me can understand. I’m very excited about the upcoming movie, starring Ryan Gosling, based on the book.

Our academy is changing franchises in March, from BNK to YBM ECC, a bigger name in English education in South Korea. Today I tried to make an ID for their website, but it didn’t matter what combination of my name and the temporary password I entered, it wouldn’t let me log on. It was immensely frustrating. Anyway I’ll try again tomorrow. Like many people, I hate computers when they won’t do the simplest of things.
