Melanie's Mostly Writing

It’s supposed to be spring here but the cherry blossom has quickly gone. To be honest, it feels more like summer. It’s been 28 degrees Celsius recently here and I saw on the weather report that it’s 32 degrees in nearby Yangju today. I was in Yangju a couple of days ago. I met up with one of my online friends. We have been friends since 2018 but never met before. She kindly drove 90 minutes to meet up.

It was wonderful to meet in person. She is sweet and funny. We went to Qoo Qoo sushi buffet. I am on a diet, as always, but the range of delicious foods was too tenpting. I ate salmon sushi and many other things. I had a dessert plate too but I chose small things. This weekend I’ve tried to up my protein and eat quality food, not just calorie count. I was tempted by some nachos and guacamole though.
