I’ve started exercising as well as dieting. I’m walking an hour each night after dinner. It’s hard going in the Korean heat, and I need to sit and rest multiple times, but it’s starting to get a little bit easier. My legs are very weak. My calves always feel okay but my thigh muscles hurt often, especially climbing steps and getting up from a low position. I’m hoping the walking will strengthen them as well as help me lose weight.

Tomorrow is a day off, thanks to the elections here in South Korea. I don’t have anything planned but the rest day is nice. There’s a lot of stress at work right now, as there are speeches to write and progress reports to upload. Tonight, however, I decided that was a problem for Thursday and didn’t bring any work home with me. I want my day off to be relaxing and I’ll face the work after that.
