I’ve had a bit of a break from social media and haven’t written my blog this past week. We were busy at the academy with a speech contest and I have been tired with the heat too. I will hopefully have something interesting to write about soon, but I have been a bit preoccupied too.

Two members of my family are suffering from cancer, and their personal battles with this horrible disease have been on my mind. They are both getting chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Obviously I don’t want to say too much except that I hope for brighter days ahead for two people I love very much.
