In my dream I was on a stony beach and trying to get up but I couldn’t move. I’d gotten too cozy and didn’t wake up until it was time to think about dinner!

Before my extended nap we’d been listening to an 80s mix at lunch. The feeling of nostalgia was very powerful. I loved the 80s and knew all the songs. What memories they brought back. Nostalgia is a double edged sword though as you get older. There’s the longing for simpler, sweeter times but there’s also an existential horror component as you realise how many decades have passed and how old you’re getting!
