Yesterday, I shared a post about mental health challenges and how they impact my creativity and writing. After rereading it, I deleted it as I didn’t feel comfortable sharing such personal information. It’s very difficult, in today’s online-all-the-time culture, to know what to share and what to keep to yourself.

I’m currently reading two things. I’m reading Exhalation, a book of short stories by Ted Chiang, plus an anime fan fiction written by someone I know well. The two could not be more different, but I am savouring them both and reading slowly as I don’t want to reach the enivitable end. It’s always delicious when you’re enjoying a good book and you know you still have half of it to go. How heartbreaking it is to get to those last few pages and not want to turn them.
